Age Verification Pop-up

The Age Verification pop-up is useful when your store sells items that require buyers to confirm their age — such as restricted goods, cosmetics, or products that shouldn’t be sold to minors.

The pop-up appears before browsing and asks the user to confirm they meet the age requirement.

⏱ 1. Pop-up Visibility (Reappearance)

This setting controls how often the pop-up shows again.

• Pop-up cookie (days)

Choose how many days should pass before the age pop-up appears again after the user confirms.

Range: 0 → 30 days

• 0 → Show it only once and never show again
• 10 → Show again after 10 days
• 30 → Show again after 30 days

Use this carefully — showing it too often can be annoying.

🎨 2. Style & Layout

This section controls the visual design.

• Color scheme

Choose the color scheme that matches your theme style.

• Show overlay

Adds a dark or blurry overlay behind the pop-up so it stands out.

• Rounded corners

Adjust the border-radius to soften the pop-up card edges.

• Maximum width

Controls how wide the pop-up can be (300px → 700px).

• Content padding

Controls the spacing inside the pop-up.

• Pop-up position

Choose where the pop-up appears:

• Center
• Bottom-left
• Bottom-right

• Text alignment

Controls alignment of text:

• Left
• Center
• Right

You can add an image to support the message.

• Image

Upload the image displayed in the pop-up.

• Image layout

Choose where the image sits:

• Left of the text
• Under the text
• Right of the text

• Overlay opacity

Adds a transparent overlay on top of the image — this improves readability.

⚠ Important:
Overlay opacity works only when the image is placed under the content.

• Avoid aggressive wording — be informative
• Don’t show the pop-up too frequently
• Make sure text is readable over the image
• Ensure the confirm button is clear and visible
